Developed while on a week-long residency working under canvas, experiencing the heat, wet and wind of that summer while surrounded by trees; and seeing and hearing their branches swept by the breeze.  ‘Where the wind blows’, is a diptych using dripped, thinned, and brushed emulsion paint on raw canvas, stretched over re-claimed stretchers.
 
These 2 paintings flow beautifully together, and hold their own as individual pieces.
